| Clearance Procedures to be used this season 2010/11 15.7 Clearance Procedures 15.7.1 The Player will request directly to the Secretary of the destination club his intentions to get a clearance to that club, and the reason for that clearance. 15.7.2 The Secretary of the destination club will submit the clearance online, via MyCricket, with the reason the player is seeking a clearance. 15.7.3 The source club will get an email notifying them of the pending clearance. 15.7.4 The source club must respond to the clearance within seven days of receiving the notification of the clearance as per 15.4, by either granting the clearance, stating “more info” or denying the clearance online. Where a club denies a clearance , they must state why, with referance to regulation 15.4 15.7.5 If the source club wishes to meet with the player before granting the clearance, they need to make contact with the player, and respond “more info”, giving a contact number for the player to contact the source club, to organize this meeting. It will be compulsory for the player to attend the meeting. 15.7.6 If a further seven days pass, without a resolution, and the clearance still in the “more info” stage, either club or player can contact the Pennant Clearance Officer to assist in completing this clearance. The Pennant Clearance Officer will schedule a meeting of the player and club at a location, within the next 2 days, to complete the clearance process. It is up to the player or destination club to contact the Pennant Clearance Officer at this stage. 15.7.7 If granted or denied by the source club, no clearance is final, until the Pennant Committee complete the clearance.
15.7.8 The Pennant Committee will not follow up on a clearance unless requested to by player, or either club. 15.7.9 All clearances will be denied if no contact from either club, electronically or verbally for 10 days. |
